Reclaimed Yorkstone Paving

Reclaimed Yorkstone paving consists of hand-selected natural york stone flags lifted from sites across the UK. The slabs range in tone from weathered greenish grey to rich dark grey, and come in both smooth and riven finishes. Each flag carries over a century of British weathering — a patina no new stone can replicate.

Reclaimed yorkstone is exceptionally durable — the slabs have already endured a century or more of heavy use and weathering. Being through its initial weathering phase, reclaimed yorkstone is dimensionally stable and extraordinarily reliable underfoot on terraces, paths, and garden areas.

Reclaimed Yorkstone flags typically vary 1–4 inches in thickness within a batch. This tolerance is normal for reclaimed material, and a bed of sharp sand or semi-dry mortar can be adjusted beneath each slab to achieve a level finish. Allow extra time compared with uniform new stone.
